TMOD have recently been dabbling in a new artform: TMOD scratchies.

The scratchie cards feature old world mechanical illustrations of hot air balloons, cuckcoo clocks and castles with jungle fauna such as tigers, birds and butterflies.

Each TMOD scratchie comes with a craft envelope, sticker, plastic sleeve and its own metal heart charm, which slots neatly into the card and is used to scratch off the thin silver layer that reveals a hidden image.

The range includes ‘thank you’, ‘happy birthday’ and ‘thinking of you’ cards, featuring everything from moonlit mountain scapes to love-note clotheslines. Fortune cards are also a special addition. Available in 10 varieties of colours and messages, you simply scratch to reveal your fortune. Special Christmas cards have also been produced, featuring Santa soaring over ancient castles and special scratchie Christmas trees.
